This isn't a place for fairies, pixies, gnomes, dragons, E.T. and his kin, monsters from other worlds, or dimensions, unicorns, or similar creatures. You'll be dealing with modern humans, vamps, and lycans, from around the globe. No other species will be permitted, and here, these species can't crossbreed.
If you need a literary reference to help you figure out just how to put a character together with the bio template you've been provided, think Anne Rice, Jean Kalogridis, Amarantha Knight, Nancy Kilpatrick, and Desiree Knight, just to name a few. If you prefer television, House of Usher, Kindred the Embraced, Forever Knight, Near Dark, The Unforgiven, Blade series, Underworld 1 & 2, Werewolf series, possibly Night Breed.
Also, it would be a very good idea to look over the species page. It has a lot of useful information about the species you'll find here. You'll need this information, especially if you want to play a lycan, vamp, or a human who will become one of the other species.
This is a free form rpg environment, imagination and creativity within the time frame and environment will determine a lot for you here. However, remember to keep any special abilities within reason, and have a reason for them having them. Also, don't overdo it, and try to write well, so it reads well.
How a character develops depends its owner, and the time and effort they're willing to put into it. The idea is for you to have fun developing your characters and their storylines, while interacting with others. Members can play by post on the forum's message boards, or get a group of friends together and play by chat in the chat rooms in the chat center. Members can even open up their own chat rooms and start their own storyline threads.
This rpggm tag is used for staff purposes, and narrations, such as describing changes to the surrounding environment, rain storm, people walk into a restaurant, and similar things. Do not post to it. You won't get a reply. If you need to contact staff, post a message in General & O.O.C. Lounge.
If you come to staff with a dispute, such as how a fight ended and who really won, then you will abide by their decision. Whether you like what they decide or not.
We all want to have fun here folks, so lets keep it congenial on the O.O.C. side of things. In character savagery, fights, etc. is expected, but keep it in character, don't carry it over to the O.O.C sections or RL, Real Life. :)
